The Director will be a member of the financial management team and report to the CFO. The position is directly responsible for preparing and tracking all financial data necessary for timely and accurate financial reporting of consolidated business results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Provide meaningful and actionable analysis of leading and lagging financial indicators to assist management and growth of the Company. Communicate regularly with management on the performance and outlook of the Company.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements, including cash flow & bank reporting.
  • Develop and drive the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports of financial and operational key performance indicators.
  • Prepare the month end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Maintain compliance with all covenants of the current credit facility.
  • Lead the annual financial audit, ensuring a timely delivery of the annual audit.
  • Review cash receipts and disbursement processes and make improvements where needed.
  • Enhance the company's Financial Planning and Analysis capabilities.
  • Participate in due diligence during acquisition evaluations.
  • Play a lead role in the integration of acquired companies - back office, systems, processes, etc.
  • Serve as valuable adviser to management team on all major initiatives.

Requirements:

  • BS in accounting; CPA required.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Minimum 2 years public accounting experience.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Working knowledge of percentage of completion project accounting preferred.
  • Experience with integration of acquired operations preferred.
  • Must have excellent analytical and communication skills to be able to interact effectively with different levels of the organization and investors.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames.
  • Proven track record of building dynamic accounting systems and financial teams.
