Responsibilities/Experience

  • Thorough understanding of managing/estimating/bidding process of projects ranging from $50K to $5M - joint sealants/caulking, waterproofing, deck coatings or similar work in non-retail commercial buildings.
  • Thorough understanding of construction documents, including drawings, specifications and schedules
  • Experience running complete estimating process: take offs, pricing, preparing/submitting a proposal and contract review
  • Escalation point for Client, PM and Superintendent to resolve issues on project level
  • Experience with on screen take off software
  • Project start-up, submittals, RFI's
  • Pay application process
  • Full P&L responsibility including cost & revenue forecasting
  • Administer the change order process including negotiation on pricing
  • Project walk-thru and project close out
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Experience/Education

  • Requires 6+ years project management and/or estimating experience on high-rise, educational, and/or healthcare facility projects (excluding retail, hotel, residential)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management Architecture, or Engineering preferred
